Fall Social and Membership Drive

Great turn out for the MTNCSfN and NSO Co-Sponsored Fall Social last year in the 3rd floor lobby of MRBIII at Vanderbilt

Fall Social and Membership Drive

The Middle TN Chapter for the Society for Neuroscience (MTNCSfN) and the Neuroscience Student Organization (NSO) would like to cordially invite everyone to attend our Fall Social which will be at 5:10pm on October 31st, immediately following the Neuroscience Seminar at Vanderbilt. This will be held in the 3rd floor lobby area of MRBIII (next to Suzie’s).

If you’re coming from off campus, you should be able to park in Public Parking Spaces in the Wesley Place Garage (spaces 52-170, 21st Ave & Scarritt Place) or along the street at the Garage.  See Visitor Parking Information here for more options and details.

We will have homebrewed and commercial beer, hot cider, wine, favorite fall foods and desserts, pumpkin painting and other fun games. (See more photos from last year here)  This year, we will also be featuring a costume contest! So, please come dressed in a fun/creative/scary/simple costume of your choice!  Also, please invite any rotation students and neuroscience enthusiasts to attend the seminar, and then stick around for the social.

If you haven’t updated your MTNCSfN membership, you can do so at the social or here on our website. Your membership dues to the chapter are the critical way to support future socials and outreach initiatives like the summer undergraduate research program, and it’s tax deductible. It’s only $10 for students and $20 for non-students, so please take a few minutes and update your dues. Don’t wait!

We hope to see many of you there!
