2006 Annual Business and Poster Meeting (printable flyer HERE)
Casual “Safari Style” Dress (a.k.a. – comfortable dress for outdoors picnic)
**Please plan to attend an important MTNCSfN annual business and poster meeting scheduled for Friday, 25 August 2006, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Vanderbilt. The business meeting will be held in 1220 MRB III Lecture Hall at 4 p.m. with a poster session and reception to follow. We will have picnic snacks/drinks in the courtyard outside MRB III and posters in the lobby.**

We have several important activities on the agenda including the following:
1. Zambian Retreat and Workshop information: The MTNCSfN chapter plans to organize an international Retreat and Workshop to be held in Lusaka, ZAMBIA (tentatively planned for 11-17 June 2007; check out http://www.zambiatourism.com). This event will be exclusively open to MTNCSfN members and the details for this international activity will be provided during the business and poster meeting.

2. Poster Competition: Graduate students are encouraged to submit abstracts for presentation at the annual poster competition. Cash prizes will be given to the top two abstracts judged to be the best entries based on scientific merit and presentation at the meeting.

Please submit your abstracts (use SfN abstract format) to terri.ray@vanderbilt.edu . The deadline for submission is Wednesday, 23 August 2006.

NOTE: Graduate students who submit abstracts by the given deadline that are approved for presentation AND follow through on presenting their posters at the upcoming MTNCSfN poster session will receive FREE 2006-2007 MTNCSfN membership. Posters can be “recycled” from previous meetings, although up-to- date and well-presented posters are likely to be judged more favorably.
