MTNCSfN IBRO Travel Award Nominee

IBRO Travel Award Availability for Graduate Students: The MTNCSfN has an opportunity to nominate a graduate student for the IBRO Travel Award as indicated below. This announcement is to determine if there are graduate students who are planning to attend the 2007 IBRO World Congress in Melbourne, Australia and if they wish to be considered for nomination for the travel award. Interested graduate students should send an email to Terri Ray at terri.ray@vanderbilt.edu to indicate their interest as a first step by Friday, 26 January 2007.

2007 SfN Travel Awards to the IBRO World Congress: The Society is pleased to offer 15 travel awards in the amount of $1500 for outstanding graduate students from the US, Canada, and Mexico to attend the 2007 IBRO World Congress (www.ibro2007.org), held every four years. This year, the conference will be held in Melbourne, Australia. Award recipients will be chosen on the basis of scientific merit of their abstract, evidence of community outreach, and letters of nomination from both the graduate student’s advisor and the local nominating chapter.

Nomination forms will be available online at www.sfn.org/TravelAwards_IBRO on January 17, 2007. Please view the nomination form for a description of the award and instructions for submission. The nomination deadline is February 15, 2007.
